I have version 2.5.0 on my phone. [11:41] turns out that scummvm isn't a storefront [11:45] I have games to add and I have linked scummvm to my google-drive and I habe the files on my phone [11:46] Just can't add them [11:54] Can you specify exactly where the issue is? Android 11 is not fully supported by ScummVM because it introduces strict restrictions in accessing the file system, especially external storage but also probably all storage that are not the app's storage. There's more work to be done on that front before we support those policies. [11:55] But still, if you have storage space available on your device (ie. not external SD card) you could put your game files under the data path for the external application storage and ScummVM should be able to see them up with the "Add Game... " browser [11:57] @Katerbär please also read this forum topic: https://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=16425 [12:36] I haven't had an issue, possibly because I had to force Android 10 (before the upgrade) to allow me to use adoptable storage https://www.hard-reset.org/smartphone-tablet/how-to-easily-make-microsd-card-become-internal-memory-without-root-no-more-insufficient-storage/ [12:45] Nice, that is a good workaround, especially if it works on Android 11 and above, that I did not know about [12:47] I added an edit, to include that url on the forementioned forum topic, to keep the info consolidated and easily referenced [12:50] Thanks for the help, I'll try it [13:08] Dominus (~dominus@exult/developer/dominus) left irc: Remote host closed the connection [13:08] Dominus (~dominus@exult/developer/dominus) joined #scummvm. [13:09] Please note that adoptable storage forces a format and encryption of the SD card. You'll have to copy everything over again if you were using external storage mode. [13:10] And you cannot take the SD card out and use it independently, as it's paired to the device. You'll have to copy to the device itself. [19:07] Also here's a youtube video of the amiga version. Don't know if it helps, but other than the sound being different, it seems to manage the music in the same way as the EGA version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ydTri3JWvM The youtube video I found for the Atari ST version is similar (again different sound, but same management of music tracks) [20:10] I could check the amiga version (winuae) vs scummvm if it helps [21:08] Dominus (~dominus@exult/developer/dominus) left irc: Remote host closed the connection [21:09] antoniou79: What I'd need to know is if the Amiga / ST versions use the same id numbers for the songs as the EGA version.
