[09:39] <Grogbot> <antoniou79> So, one of my solutions to the Android translated themes crashing issue (due to the vsnprintf incompatibility) was to convert all translated strings to UTF-8 (via replacing the macro in the translation.cpp and adding a few trivial new methods) and only when they should be drawn they were converted back to extended Ascii (in font.cpp). That mostly worked, but I could not track the UTF-8 strings / char * reliably so some of them were being

In the main compatibility page, the title says "DEV compatibility" but the DEV is not actually part of the translation string, so it will remain untranslated and at least in Greek it doesn't fit well

I'm somewhat constrained when it comes to the Level 9 games, since all of them were commercial, and I'm not aware of any compilation that was ever commercially released that I could use to test multiple games with. So I've only been testing so far on a single game I had access to.
[17:15] <Grogbot> <DreamMaster> Even the detection table is somewhat unique for Level 9.. luckily the existing Level 9 interpreter had a master list of known games and "CRC codes" for them, so I used it in preference to our standard md5 based detections. Handy, since I didn't have all the different variations to generate md5s from in the first place
