When I run the app it will lock the mouse and I can't use the mouse unless I reboot the computer. rsn8887 was helpful and reccomended the latest dev build and updating the sdl file but it didn't help. Any suggestions where to start?
[03:21] <grogbot> <armitage> Okay, so I made a windwos 7 VM to test it and it still killed the mouse. I closed the VM and my mouse was dead on the host os.

[04:45] <grogbot> <OMGPizzaGuy> Think I'm gonna roll with this: while saving U8 currently only redraws the mouse with it's busy cursor - I've got a change that hides the book menu gump and does a full redraw so the thumbnails are more useful. Not sure if the long term plan is to continue using the in game save dialog, but I think the book menu might still be there.

[05:09] <grogbot> <sluicebox> @armitage at the point that any program is bricking your host mouse from within a VM that's a strong tell that the problem is with your host and not the program. i know that doesn't narrow it down much, and i don't have further troubleshooting advice, but it sounds like your problem is elsewhere and bigger than scummvm or sdl. those are severe symptoms that haven't been reported and i run the latest builds on win7 and within win7 VMs

However, we have seen streams (and we tested ourselves) the GOG version at least with the packed ScummVM. The dialogue was playing ok (ie. as in the video)
