[18:09] <grogbot> <eriktorbjorn> I think the game decides on startup whether or not the "CD" audio tracks are available or not, and then sticks with that decision for the rest of the game. So when you load a saved game, you get whatever it decided when that game was started.
[18:11] <grogbot> <eriktorbjorn> I.e. it's scripted. Theoretically I guess ScummVM could override that decision later, though this isn't the only game that behaves unexpectedly if you switch audio in mid-game.

[20:39] <grogbot> <Bosca> Thanks! Spooled Music is just... the music 😄 it was given the possibility to disable it back in the day since it has to be streamed continuously from the data files, and some CD drives were very slow back then
