[19:03] <dreammaster> As the primary developer, probably not for a while. I moved onto working on other game engines since then.
[19:03] <c_byran> Ah, that's too bad.
[19:03] <dreammaster> Though the code is in place to sort of play the 3do version, so really, and developer could get a copy of the game off of Ebay or Amazon, and play around with fixing the transparency and movement problems.

[19:04] <dreammaster> I agree that it would be nice to have it supported, since it has all the full talkie. It's just after spending so much time getting the PC version of both it and Rose Tattoo working, I was a bit weary of doing further work on the game

[19:07] <dreammaster> Yep, we were lucky in that case to have been provided original sources from EA, but it still look a lot of effort to merge both games into a single engine, and get it all working with the ScummVM framework, cleaning up all the code, etc.

[19:09] <dreammaster> I've since moved onto other games, Starship Titanic, some of the earlier Might & Magic games, and now I'm working both on implementing support for the classic text adventures like from Infocom, and separately working on support for Ultima 1

[19:10] <dreammaster> I'm even hopeful of providing an "enhanced enhanced" version of Ultima 1 that can re-use the Ultima 6 tileset to provide a more pleasing gaming experience.

[19:15] <c_byran> If you could take them from the pc version an implement it in the 3do version that would be sweet, or if the voices from the 3DO version can be implemented into the PC game that be awesome. :)
[19:16] <dreammaster> Well, I never got around to playing the 3do version much beyond some initial work I did getting the game to at least start up, so it's hard to compare them. Plus, it's been a while since I worked on the games, so my memory is fading.
[19:17] <dreammaster> But I share your enthusiasm. Part of the reason I'm working on Ultima 1 right now is the opportunity to experiment with enhancing the game further when I'm done. Particular since Ultima 1's story, in all honesty, is pretty non-existant by today's standards
