[17:40] <grogbot> <rootfather> At least with the copy I have, the obsidian installer is somewhat 16 bit compatible.
[17:40] <grogbot> <rootfather> I had to run the installer in a 32 bit VM and copy over the extracted files
[17:40] <grogbot> <rootfather> and then merge the files from the various discs with the files the installer threw out
[17:40] <grogbot> <rootfather> but your mileage may vary.

[17:44] <grogbot> <rootfather> Well, you can try to run the installer and check if it even starts.
[17:45] <grogbot> <rootfather> The game won't run since the mPlayer isn't compatible with modern Windows at least in my experience.
[17:45] <grogbot> <regularJim> It doesn't. It just gives me a blue error bar that 'This App Can't Run on your PC'
[17:45] <grogbot> <rootfather> Ah. That's the same issue that I had.
[17:45] <grogbot> <rootfather> The 16 bit installer.
[17:46] <grogbot> <rootfather> What you can try is to start the installer with this neat little thing: https://github.com/otya128/winevdm
[17:46] <grogbot> <rootfather> tl;dr: This magical piece of software allows running 16 bit software on modern Windows
[17:52] <grogbot> <regularJim> Dang. It did change the Error message to "Windows Can't Find Setup.exe Make Sure you typed the Name Correclty"

[17:52] <grogbot> <regularJim> But it wasn't a magic fix. 😦

[18:10] <grogbot> <rootfather> so if you install it, then I think it should find the missing setup.exe
[18:11] <grogbot> <rootfather> and installation of winevdm can be done with the "install" shortcut, so you don't have to mess with the .inf files manually
