[00:01] <grogbot> <criezy> Yes, it is not exposed in the GUI and needs to be manually written in the ini file.
[00:01] <grogbot> <criezy> I would say it is mostly useful for developers when we set our extrapath to . or something similar so that it finds the themes and engine data files in the scummvm source directory, and we don't want to put the icons there.
[00:01] <grogbot> <criezy> But I would expect most users to use the extrapath.
[00:02] <grogbot> <criezy> And I just noticed that the README.md, LIESMICH, and the source code all have a different idea on the exact spelling of iconspath 😅

[09:06] <grogbot> <rootfather> ah, nevermind - they don't work.
[09:06] <grogbot> <rootfather> must be going on at my end
[09:20] <grogbot> <rootfather> weird. Building with my MXE toolchain results in this error message (despite the plugins being there and enabled) while MSYS2 works just fine
[09:34] <grogbot> <rootfather> LOL. It's the filename. At least on Win32, the plugins system only works if the name of the executable is exactly scummvm.exe. Use e.g. scummvm1.exe and it will fail loading the plugins. This sounds like a bug to me.
[09:37] <grogbot> <rootfather> Also, IMHO scummvm should only try to load .dll's stored in the plugins directory as plugins - currently it's spitting out warnings for any other .dll shipped in directory where scummvm.exe itself resides.

[18:05] <grogbot> <antoniou79> I don't see a way to set rsn8887 as the owner for the bug, without changing the resolution, so I'll set it as "pending" with him as owner. I hope this is ok
[18:05] <grogbot> <antoniou79> (well and if it's not, we can always change it)
[18:12] <grogbot> <rootfather> @antoniou79 that's the correct way in this case.
[18:12] <grogbot> <rootfather> "resolution" should better be labeled as "what's now?"
[18:14] <grogbot> <_athrxx> Is it a Trac thing that you can't just set the owner?
[18:14] <grogbot> <_athrxx> Or does that require better privileges?
[18:14] <grogbot> <rootfather> yes, that's a Trac thing or part of their design. Every change requires a specific "action", so you can't change the owner without "doing" something.
[18:14] <grogbot> <rootfather> e.g. in this case we choose "pending", because we are waiting for the new owner to pick it up
[18:15] <grogbot> <_athrxx> Okay, that makes sense. With the tracker that we were using before that "pending" basically meant "fixed".
[18:16] <grogbot> <_athrxx> IIRC the "pending" tickets would automatically close after a period of time

[18:18] <grogbot> <criezy> Yes, I find the way this tracker works confusing. There is no obvious way to assign a task to yourself to say you are working on this. You also need to set the resolution at the same time to something which in my opinion doesn't really makes sense.
[18:19] <grogbot> <criezy> The way I have seen pending used in other tracker is usually to mean "cannot reproduce - we need more info from the reporter"
[18:23] <grogbot> <_athrxx> It is certainly the reason why most of our tickets have no owner
