[01:20] <grogbot> <thoth> Aaah. So it seems that GOG doesn't actually correctly completely install Ultima 8. You actually have to run it in DOSBOX and run install.exe (or launch it, not sure which) prior to copying over ENGLISH for ScummVM, or the game won't work right.

[08:04] <grogbot> <rsn8887> Most programs need it with gcc 10 at least on Switch/Vita.

[08:16] <grogbot> <rsn8887> It seems like -fcommon is not used even though I switched buildbot to gcc 10 for Vita/Switch I guess it works without it.
[08:17] <grogbot> <rsn8887> Although missing -fcommon in other programs sometimes causes crashes after 10 minutes of running or so.
[08:18] <grogbot> <rsn8887> Supposedly it is a sign of bad programming if it does that.
