It's not really important - maybe it found some Hebrew settings somewhere... However, it seems that FriBiDi isn't compiled in. I assume it's temporary, because it's 'something put together quickly' and will be added later, right?

[07:29] <grogbot> <sluicebox> i rarely stray from the default audio settings in scummvm, but when i do use windows midi on the sci games, i tend to notice edge cases that don't seem like they should be right. it's usually volumes and stuck notes, so this doesn't surprise me too much. my strategy on midi stuff is to try to write up an easy to reproduce bug report (like the ones you're so good at writing!) for some control-byte weilding genius to fix

[07:34] <eriktorbjorn> That's odd. With the demo, the fading goes on (with no audible effect) for a while after the ballad starts. With the floppy version, I don't see it actually using the fading.
[07:34] <grogbot> <sluicebox> sure, i'm happy to do it to, but i'm going to be away from computers for the next few days. if i don't see one from you next week i'll write it up. i think using "stopallsounds" to hear the difference is the crucial piece of info for some MIDI master to witness and debug the problem
[07:35] <eriktorbjorn> Well, maybe once. I added a debug message to MusicEntry::doFade(), and it did change the volume from 127 to 117 for the floppy version, but it didn't keep fading down to 0. With the demo, it faded from 127 to 0 in steps of 5.
