First of all, I finished the implementation of all the Once Upon a Forest room scripts. Now, at least as far as game logic is concerned, I just need to identify and implement the various global parser, daemon (animation), etc. functions that differ between games. After that I'll "just" have to identify all the places they hacked in changes in the engine. Such as where the [06:39] [discord] Secondly, I also got to a point in my Rex Nebular (madsv2_rex) branch where all the game logic has been converted to compile against the MADSV2 kernel, using an intermediate thunk layer to translate between the previous Rex classes, functions, and fields, to the MADV2 versions. The only problem is that Rex Nebular, being the first game, has some differences in room data format and animations layout. I'd accidentally switched two digits in the filename, and just by luck the incorrect version was a valid unused file. 😅 .
