[05:42] [discord] For my Screenshot Friday, it had been somewhat stressful work week last week, and I wanted to do something fun. And what I've drifted into is further work on Return of the Phantom. I had previously had some trouble trying to correlate code from the game's main menu, which I'd started on, to our existing MADS engine. The existing engine had our own names for a lot of the code, not to mention, categorization of functionality into cl [05:42] [discord] The cardinal rule for this new work will be.. no renaming or cleaning anything until every single MADS game is supported: Return of the Phantom, Dragonsphere, and Once Upon a Forest. If it can be done with this sub-namespace, I'll be happy. It can be left to any future developer, if they're interested enough, to look into merging Rex Nebular into it, and unifying the codebase. I'll merge it back into master once I make some definitive progress, completing the core engine, and at least getting the game to start up.
