[09:18] <i3> does spqr the empire darkest hour actually start up in the mtropolis engine? Trying to figure out if I need to install it in a VM or just copying over the GAME subdir off the cd was enough and it stops loading because the engine stopped running it at some time

[18:30] <i3> got the problem with SQPR... extracting the iso from the android file manager app I'm using (nmm) only extracts a superficial protection file. I don't know if this is a old style copy protection that mangles the file table, but extracting the iso with '7z x' instead first extracted a 1KiB S_6842.MPX then a 551 to overwrite on top. I'm slightly concerned it's still not the complete file... but it boots now.

Strangely, the checksums with 'head -c size file | md5sum' and size of the 2 files required are correct so I don't understand why. I suspect doing scummvm -a -p pathtogame will eliminate the false positives. as is kind of normal I found (it's much faster to do scripting to iterate over a top
