[18:44] <grogbot> [discord] <somaen> The nomenclature is somewhat confusing as we can render most of the games at thousands of FPS on a modern computer, but since they are pre animated 2D titles mostly, the animations themselves have fixed frame rates, for a game like Monkey Island that rate is by some considered a bit low when going to the Special Edition, as the higher res characters come of as more staccato when keeping the same number of frames in each animation.
