As you can see, I'm rendering the status area fully now, and have only just added support for rendering the current area background. Further work on rendering the area content to follow. This version was quite an upgrade from the ZX Spectrum regarding colors, but strangely enough, the original implementation did not have the iconic mountains background that all the others had (it is unclear exactly why). I decided to include an optional feature that adds the mountain background in ScummVM!
