[08:15] <grogbot> [discord] <sdelamarre> For my first (and a bit late) Screenshot Friday, here is the main screen of Adi 4, the Coktel educational game that follows Adibou (aimed at 7-15 years old). I could finally get past the character creation step, by extending some "if gametype ==" exceptions from Adibou2 in Gob, and implementing a missing sprite decompression routine.
[08:15] <grogbot> [discord] <sdelamarre> The animations mostly work, although there are several sound glitches. Most side activities just crash at startup for now however. And the educational add-ons (Maths etc.) cannot be entered yet.
[08:15] <grogbot> [discord] <sdelamarre> I am currently implementing some missing string "obfuscation" and "deobfuscation" Gob opcodes! But not as creative as in the #offtopic discussion fortunately, just some basic XOR trick. 😅 They used them to prevent some strings from appearing as plain text in config and save files, as a safeguard against child hackers maybe. 😄
