[20:13] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> Would anyone be willing to help me out if possible? I've been trying to solve this for hours and hours, searching everywhere I can and I haven't found the solution.
[20:13] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> I usually use MT32 music for my games and everything's fine, I'm trying to play conquest of the longbow and during certain repeated scenes the music will play and then stop and it'll play the bird chirping sound effects like it's the music, once those sound effects end the music will continue.
[20:13] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> It happens if I select both fluid synth and MT32. It doesn't happen if I just do the adlib I believe it's called although then it sounds horrible.

[21:42] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> I've tried nearly all the combinations of settings I can think of, How I usually have it setup is..MT32 is just set to use the emulation, And my midi device is set as fluidsynth.
[21:42] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> I usually just set fluidsynth is my preferred music device, and then just set the MT32 as the preferred music device for games that support it.
[21:42] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> In conquest of a longbow using either fluid synth or MT32 causes the same issue. It happens at the end of day two and three back at camp If you let the music run for a minute or so it'll stop and almost play bird noises as music, and then continue on with the music.
[21:43] <grogbot_> [discord] <gimbalrates> Again though, I've tried nearly every variation of midi and music device settings, the only thing that offers any type of workaround is setting it to ad-lib, or setting it to default everything in which case the behavior does not happen and the music during that scene plays all the way through but of course the game doesn't sound well at all then.
