[09:00] <waltervn> it's still possible that the hoyle1 back2roots version is corrupt, even if the detection entry was OK. I didn't compare the back2roots version to my original floppies.

[09:04] <waltervn> our md5sum covers such a limited portion of the resource files that it's practically useless as an integrity check

[09:27] <m_kiewitz> if you can compare those 2 and they are not equal, maybe we can manually check for corruption

[09:28] <m_kiewitz> lsl1 shared the same md5?
[09:31] <waltervn> I don't think the md5sum is meant as an integrity check though, but even for identifying files it's not great, as e.g. hoyle1 has two different resources files that have the same checksum in our detector.
[09:32] <waltervn> yes, basically the lsl1 on back2roots had chunks of it zeroed out, but not in the portions we use for checksums
[09:34] <Kirben> I contacted back2roots long ago about the corrupt files, and they mentioned wanted to fix it. But that web site has been down a long time now.

[20:13] <baudtack> apparently, someone built a different build of scummvm for android http://anddev.at.ua/load/scummvm_svn55436/1-1-0-7 that allows for the creation of onscreen buttons, including one to raise the keyboard
[20:14] <baudtack> which solved my problem good enough. just thought i'd bring that up in case anyone else had the same issue.
[20:14] <baudtack> it is a bit clunkier to use than the official android build, as far as the menu system goes, but eh
