[19:37] <tsoliman> I am completely failing at mutexes. I have a class with a mutex as a private member, in the class's constructor I do "_clickModeMutex = g_system->createMutex();" and in a specific method of the class I do "g_system->lockMutex(_clickModeMutex);" and it just freezes every time it tries to lock the mutex .. What am I doing wrong?

[19:53] <tsoliman> I blame javaitis .. ClassCastException and similar in managed languages

[22:30] <tsoliman> I have some custom event work done that isn't going towards separating the events into different types .. it is in the same vein as LittleBoy's work in pull request #8
[22:31] <tsoliman> It is largely to help me understand the event model before I dive into the major refactoring and also to allow Maemo to have backend actions remappable via the keymapper
[22:32] <tsoliman> regarding the major refactoring though, I had some questions about the details of it.. would EventSource have to be split into 2 classes?
